Welcome to my personal website which I keep up mainly to preserve the family research of the Jelbert family names (and variations) which was done by my late brother. There isn't a lot I want to say about me except that I am a retired broadcasting engineer and video-tape editor.

I was born in Cornwall but moved away at eighteen to my first job in Bristol. I lived in Southampton for nearly twentyfive years and in Winchester for ten where I worked as a media technician at the university college. I've now retired to Cornwall and live with my partner Annie in Goldsithney.

Apart from the odd walk and regular swim I enjoy playing in a local samba band and our more recent "BLOOZE" band. I take an interest in most things technical and I've recently finished converting a 1997 Mercedes Sprinter ambulance into a motorhome.
