A simple idea for carrying an outboard motor to the water.
My 2.9 metre inflatable is too heavy for my partner and I to carry if the outboard motor is rigged on the transom.
So it has to be carried separately - and even though it's just a 3.5 Mariner, it's still an awkward lump to carry.
I adapted a golf trolley that I bought for a couple of pounds in a charity shop. Basically I had to only fix a small piece
of plywood at the bottom to register the prop/gearbox. An elastic shock cord around the engine secures it.
